Brahma traveled to Kashmir with Pushkar and witnessed misery and violence against Kashmiri scholars. He raised the issue with the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, who dismissed Brahma.

Militant commander Farooq Malik Bitta, a former student of Pushkar, breaks into the house of Pushkar Nath. Karan hides in a rice bowl but Bitta finds him and shoots him.
