In 1920, British Governor Scott and his wife Katherine went to the Adilabad forest and forcibly took the talented Gond girl Malli to Delhi. Komaram Bhim, a tribal guard, came to Delhi with his men to rescue the girl. The Nizam of Hyderabad warns Scott's office about Bhim's mission.
Police officer Aluri Sitaram Raju took up the challenge of catching Bhim for promotion. He attends a meeting of freedom fighters and offers to kill Scott. Their goals seem to be aligned with Bhima's ally Lachu Ram joining them. However, when Ram realizes that he is a police officer, he runs away. Lachchu tells Bhim this and tells him to keep it a secret.
Ram and Bhima accidentally meet and team up to save a boy. They bond with each other, hiding their true identities. Ram helps Bhim to go to Scott's niece Jenny. At Jenny's invitation, Bhim goes to the governor's palace. He meets Malli in silence, assuring her of rescue.
Ram captures Lachhu to ask for the address of their leader but in vain. Lachchu takes a simple crate and throws it at Ram. Lachchu warns Ram that the bite will kill him in an hour without anti-venom, which is only known to goons. Ram finds his way to Bhima for his treatment. Bhim confesses to Rama, reveals his mission.
